Summary: Demons possess all sorts of strange things. People, mirrors, lamps, and as of now, cameras. No one uses these things anymore, but those who do...pray you don't pick up this one.

History: Within an old polaroid camera (it isn't actually a polaroid, but don't tell the filmmakers that) is a horrific demonic entity that makes sure the people within each photograph dies a horrible death, usually at its hands. It is heavily implied that the demon is in fact the spirit of Roland Sable, a man who sexually abused his daughter while she had the camera, and killed anyone who tried to spread the word. But now, the camera is in the wrong hands, and the demon is on the hunt.

Notable Kills: Rips a photo in half to kill a sheriff.

Final Fate: After killing many, the demon is finally defeated when someone manages to take a picture of it, and burn the photo, causing the entity to disintegrate. The camera is then tossed into a river to be forgotten forever.

Powers/Abilities: Like a camera's developing photo, the demon is at its strongest in the darkness, even if it is more visible. Also, it appears as a shadow in each photo, and darkens any room it's in before swooping in to kill.

Weakness: Also like a developing photo, the entity hates heat, and if you manage to photograph it, just burn the photo and kill it.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-It's as easy as putting the camera away. No one would even BOTHER using it. That said, if you're somehow inclined to use it, it WILL find you and it will kill you. Painfully. And don't even think about destroying the photo first (unless it just features the demon), or you'll kill everyone else in the picture.

Trivia: -This film was supposed to be released in 2017, but then the Weinstein company went under for justified reasons, and the film had to wait until it was acquired by Lantern Entertainment.

-Ironically, the film's main actress, Kathryn Prescott, is a professional photographer in real life. Talk about type casting.
